Just saw the making of the c6 on the history channel and it was an interesting 30 min. I wish I could just drop that engine into my c5 because that's the best part of the car.

You probably could. It's actually smaller in size physically. I was at the Bozeman Montana meet and one of the head engineers for the Z06 project said it is the biggest output small block they have ever made. Six bolt mains along with a lot of other great stuff. The engine is hand built and physically smaller than the LS1 small block. We all wondered when someone would put one in a C5.
