Altus Ok. - 6 Vettes, no waves
I have been TDY to Altus Ok for the past 3 months and am really getting Corvette jitters, being my car is at home in Georgia. Anyhow, today I saw 6 vettes and not a single one waved back 
What is it with Oklahoma? Oh well, maybe tomorrow ill get my wave.

Don't know how long you will be TDY in Altus, but why not consider joining us for our monthly meeting here in Wichita Falls (75 miles away). We meet the first Wednesday of the month. In fact our club is planning a run up to North of Lawton tomorrow. Just in case you are wondering, a few of our members are stationed at Sheppard and we are a friendly club.

I live in Oklahoma and get waves all the time from other vette owners. Maybe those vettes were from out of state. Or they are just looking out for our ever present State troopers that like to give tickets. Any ways you get a wave from me

Altus AFB, been there many times during my career. Did they have OK plates or could they be TDY to Altus same as you.
