Default replacing tires

My c5 run flats are almost shot. I was told to get non run flats when I replace these. Any feedback? do the c5's run better with regular times and if so, what tires is best for mostly freeway and some driving up and down the calif. coast? I have used my car 3 times for auto cross..but that is not a big consideration in my decision

Non run flats will give you a better ride and better performance. If you go that way with no spare keep cell phone with you. The tire goo will kill your tire sensors. I keep some plugs and compressor in my Zo6.

A lot of people go to the Michelin Pilots. Kuhmo has a new tire out that I've heard some pretty good reports on. The ride quality, traction and road noise are suppose to be second to none.

There's alot of tires out there that produce great performance at a low cost. Firestone Wide Ovals and Toyo Proxes are great non-EMT choices. I purchased a tire plug kit and compressor at Wal-mart for about $20.
