I am purchasing a 2002 Z06 with only 2500 miles. Unfortunately, it is out of warranty. Do any of you have any suggestions regarding purchasing an extended program somewhere? Are there any good values or is it a waste of money?
Don't you have to buy those BEFORE the factory warranty expires?
Same question here... my 02 has 4400 miles on it... it was born on 9/27/02... so I still have a few months left on mine... any suggestions? whats a good price for an exclusive warranty? brands?
There are warranty companies out there who I believe will allow you to purchase when youre out of warranty from the manufacturer. How do I contact Ken Fichtner? Thanks.

2002-Z06
I believe you can still purchase warranty for a car that has expired, it is certainly more expensive and I believe requires an inspection by dealer service dept. I also believe there is a time period for the warranty to take effect (30-60 days or something like that).
i know ken's great but jason walter at ross downing, beat fitchner's price by over $150 for me, just bought my GMPP major gaurd last week. yes you have to do it b/f the factory warranty expires to qualify for GMPP. give jason a call, you will not be sorry, PM me for details.
why is that? am I paying a premium price just cuz it says "GM" on it? is the service any better? if I get a low deductable full bumper to bumper exclusive warranty for cheaper, what incentives are there to get GM over that for more money? Please tell
