I posted this in tech also and had 0 replies, maybe someone here could help. Noticed some chirping/swealing under the hood. Just changed the serpentine belt which made it much better, but I still notice it a little with the a/c on. I have the a/c belt, but it looks like a PITA to replace. Anyone do it themselves and can offer some advice. The belt looks pretty worn. Thanks in advance.
The a/c belt is IMO much easier to change than the main belt. Of course you have to remove the main belt to get to it but it's a very straight forward and simple install.

I have the squealing sound at startup (sound goes away after a few minutes of driving). I traced it to the belt tensioner pulley...upper passenger side on front of engine. I am going to see to see if some grease can fix it...if not...I'm odering part #12559325 from GMPD for about $43.
Mine is the opposite, sqeals as it warms up, esp after a long drive. The tensioner looks and sounds pretty good, so I think it is belt related. Thanks for all of the input.
I agree with both of these guys above....but I would guess the tension pulley is the problem before the AC belt.
Here is something to try and narrow it down.
Take WD40 or even a speed detailer and give it one quick shot on the main belt....if it goes away I would say it is the pulley if not then it is the AC belt
( mine did the same thing for a while until my water pump went)
I had to replace both tensioners and pulleys due to squeeling. I had to get the tensioners from GM $75.00 a piece. The idler pulleys came from a local auto parts store $10.00 a piece. Total time to replace all, less than an hour. Pretty easy DIY. Good Luck.
