... So far I have seen black, yellow, blue and dark red. But no white C6?
I saw a white C6 at Plastic Fantastic this past weekend. White w/blk & red interior if I recall. I believe it had Georgia temp plates on it but the Show was in California.
I had never owned a white car and hadn't really cared for the C6 but after seeing a couple of white ones up close and personal I had to have one. As far as i'm concerned white (or silver) is the only color that works on the C6. The C6, unlike the C5, just does not have the lines for the darker colors. My $.02.

And speaking of that, what is up with the red interior on the C6s? First of all, the red is dull and subdued. But, mostly, the carpets aren't red anymore! They're dark gray/black? like the other interior parts. That means there is very little red at all. What a joke.
I have never cared for refrigerator white on a sports car. Red seems to be the most popular color but refrigerator white? Who wants to drive a car that looks like a refrigerator? White looks great on a family sedan. I'm giving my granddaughter a white Toyota Corolla that looks nice. The Chevy dealer told me the other day they specifically ordered a C6 in White because they thought it wouldn't sell. It didn't last two weeks.

Hate to burst your bubbles fellows and gals - but the first C5 EVER was VIN 0001 and I saw it at the Corvette Museum last October. It was Torch Red. Check it out......
And Vin 0001 in 1999 was the first Fixed Roof Coupe - again in Torch Red..... sorry

Hmmmmmmm? I have a black fridge. Where does that leave black vettes? They seem rather popular too!
And why the Hell would a dealer want a car on the lot they think wouldn't sell? Their logic is as screwed up as yours!

Well I have never cared for the Maroon color on a sports car either. Red?...like a Torch Red? - now that's a red and the color many sports cars come in. Besides a maroon colored refrigerator would look...

Not all Beta test cars are white.
First C5 - 1G1YY22G1V5100001 was torch red w/black interior.
First C6 - 1G1YY24U855100001 was (anyone guess what color?)
I saw an article in Motor Trend (I think) which tested the C6 before they had been released for sale. They spent all day thrashing the test car only to notice afterwards that is was car #00001. By the way, it was LeMans Blue.

Close, but no cigar. The FRC's were not offered in Speedway White. In '99 and 2000 the FRC's were offered in Arctic White (among others). The "Speedway White" was offered on the Z06's beginning in '01 I believe and is a distinctly different shade of white. It's the kind of things us FRC guys notice.
