Long Drive Home
My Mom died Saturday. Last minute plane tix are spendy, siblings got most of the details worked out, I will drive, save a few bucks on plane fare and rental car and get a few days to get it together in my Vette. Trying to make the best of a bad situation.
It will be my first trip in my baby. Must be in Spokane by 5pm Monday, from there it is off to Denver for a pit stop and on to Jax, Florida.
Leaving tomorrow soon as I get the dealership to change an O2 sensor and reset tire pressuer sensors. Other than that she checks out great, but D.I.C. is giving me a mpg of 16.5, is it that low because of 1 bad O2 sensor?

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. We just had a scary fight with cancer with my mother this past year.
Yes a bad o2 sensor can cause poor performance and fuel economy. Make sure you keep us posted on your FL visit!
Again my condolences,
Chris

My sympathy for your loss. Regarding airlines, most give a special funeral rate on airfare.
God Bless America!

I'm sorry for your loss.
I also lost my mother to cancer 6 years ago.
FWIW- You might want to try airtran, southwest or priceline for a cheap last minute flight. They've all worked for me with short notice.
Be safe and God bless, Tom
