Default Console removal instructions

Did a dumb thing. Had my leo badge on the door to the cig lighter, opened the door and clink clunk just like that it went under the console. I did a search on how to remove the console to no avail. Anyone have a link to go to? Or better yet, can I get my hand down there from somewhere to fish this out of there? Sounded like it might have dropped pretty far down. It was my wallet badge so its small.

Thanks, Dolen

Remove the sensor trim next to the key hole (pry out the square thing with vents)
Unscrew the exposed bolt
Open ash tray door and remove ashtray and two bolts(you may have to unplug the cig lighter)
Open console lid and pry out A/H airbag panel and unplug
Remove two bolts
Lift where you just removed the bolts
Don't go crazy forcing it
You may have to move the gear shifter and ebrake to give the panel room to move
PM me if you have any trouble...

I've used these instructions before and they are excellent. Good luck retrieving the badge.

Easy to do, just be slow and careful with the plastic pins. Had to do it to replace HVAC controls. They made it simple
