I seem to have seen, either on E-bay or elsewhere, snap-on covers for the key locks, Since we don't need to use the key, I would like to purchase some, in my body color, but can't seem to find them again.
Can someone direct me to the right place. Any pix?
Thanks for your help in advance!
They were on eBay.....but EXPENSIVE for a piece of plastic. They come with the infamous Corvette Tax for sure. Good new though. There was a post several months ago about a member who have made their own picking up the materials from Home Depot or Lowes. Do a Search and you might be able to find it. If not, perhaps someone else will be able to find it or share the "How To". Good luck.
I've seen them in a couple of the catalogs that come to my house. But $19.95, or so, for two tiny chips of plastic is way more than I'd ever spend... even if they are painted to match. How much labor does it take to paint two 1/2 inch parts?
I'd like to see the DIY again too. Been a while. Last week I was in HD and I figured I'd look for any caps that would work -- couldn't find them. I'm hoping the DIY has part #'s or something. I just got factory pewter in a spray can as well as clear, so I'm ready to do these!
