grab the silver/grey part of the bolt with pliers/ratchet/two pieces of wood pressed together and "turn". Should come right out of the rubber pieces... hehe
Was having a serious case of "the dumb ***". Was thinking that the rubber molding came off thus exposing the bolt. Non of my rachets would fit, so used pliers and some elbow grease.

I am pretty sure a 8MM wrench fits at least one of the bolts.
My C5 ate my first 8MM while changing out the orignal battery
How did that happen Ghost.rider? Positive to Negative connection, or did it just strip off the walls of the wrench?
UT-Driven
No nothing shocking like that.
Clumsy person that I am I dropped the 8mm into who knows where in the C5 and couldn't find it down there below the battery. Picked up a replacement 8mm at Carlisle .
