That looks awesome. How much do you want to do mine the same way. BTW: I'm taking mine off right now to mail them to you.
Actually....I was going to offer a freebie paint job. I have my old covers....mint...and would like another shot at it. I think I can do a better job now that I had a crack at it. My biggest enemy was patience. What color?

I'll be happy to do the rail covers for you. A few things though. I used SEM Silver Vinyl paint. It does not match the Quicksilver color exactly, but since the covers are not near any of the actual body, you really can't tell. It is slightly darker. The only problem that would come up is if you decide to buy some other painted parts that are Quicksilver, they won't match. The "Corvette" letters and the "5.7" inserts came from Zip Corvettes. You would have to get those and put them on yourself. If I remember right, around $50 or so. Would you be willing to send me your old covers after you get the painted ones?
Nice job on the covers.....take a whack at your upper radiator support cover...don't get too carried away with chrome and you'll wind up with a GREAT looking engine bay!!!!!!!
