I own a 1997 Corvette, auto.... 38k miles on it....
here is the problem
I pulled it in first while rolling real slow and punched it, felt real weak... and sputered like car like died, i pulled over while check engine light come on and all, also in my electronic gauge display it said reduced engine power... so i stoped and turned it off.. after a few minutes i headed to advance auto parts.. while the car was making me go real real slow and sputering like... so i get the engine light checked and it come back as reads

so i undid my batter cables and it reset everything, no longer check engine light, no longer saying reduced engine power... but now if i puch it to the floor it will just bog and will not rev... if i slowly go to the floor it will rev fine... but it also didnt want me to go passed 3k rpms first amd squeeked like.....
ANY HELP PLEASE

New information...
i was looking under the hood... when i would rev the car up... it would suck the boot that comes of the throttle bottle in, like shut it up.... thats were i think the squeeking sound was coming from... so i took it off and straightend it up and reved it again and it sseems i guees fine now
but does ne body know why it would have done this????????
has any one else experienced this problem?
