Power Seat/Column Problem
Hey all-
All of a sudden about a week ago my power driver seat and steering column stopped working. The memory presets don't readjust the seat and when I try to use the control buttons they don't respond either. My passenger seat still works however. Additionally the memory presets on the door appear to be working as the lights blink when I select 1 or 2. Any idea what the problem might be? Fuse? I have a hard time believing both the seat and column motors broke at the same time.....any ideas?

while it may be hard to believe I have seen posts indicating the the column and driver's seat power may be from the same source - I'd check fuses to be sure. Also, in those posts the problems seemed to be chaffed or disconnected wires under the seat that caused both seat and column telescoping problems....
