My Setup:
Premier P1R set up in pro mode
Memphis 8" multi-sync components bi- amplified
Planet Audio 100.2 pushing 50 watts RMS per tweeter (temporary)
Eclipse 32440 Bridged to two channels 200 watts per 8" mid
(temporary, not enough headroom)
Eclipse 12" sub (temporary) no amp on it now, sold the eclipse amp that was powering it.
Replace my non-Bose system with an Aiwa head unit that has MP3 playback capability, Pioneer speakers, and a Bazooka Bass Tube powered subwoofer. The main diff between mine and those pictured above is that I don't lose the use of the storage compartment (that's also where the 10 disc after-market CD changer is installed....I've had it since I bought the car....the stereo upgrade is a recent mod).
i kept bose system but added a 500watt amp and a 12 inch boston acoustics sub. it's great. mine is a vert so high end speakers etc. are a bit of a waste IMO since my top is down most of the year. if it were a hardtop maybe it would be worth changing.
