My right front speaker is buzzing on bass notes. Sounds like its gone. Is it hard to get to the speaker to inspect it. Any suggestions on replacements? Thanks

Check the Bose emblem on it first....mine was rattling around alot and I thought it was blown too. Put a little super glue on the emblem and good as new!
You were dead on correct! I just took the vette to the store and when I touched the emblem it was very loose. When CD played it vibrated under my finger and the buzzing stopped whne I pinned it down. Will get super glue!
wow----have noticed that our 2000 coupe has been having the same stinking buzzing from the R front speaker. will check it out. thanks for the tip!!! bub
How about this forum. I just checked with a "stealer". Door speaker repair is a $300 part and 4 hours booked labor @$115 per hour. That adds up to $760 repair! Forum saved you $$$$$. Congratulations!

See if your door panel is buzzing. Mine was, the panel was loose between the panel and door . I rolled up a little electrical tape and put it between the door and panel.(front of the door by the speaker) Took care of the vibration.
