Just washed my c5 and noticed a small area about 1"x 2" on the glass roof where the tint was off color. I thought something had gotten stuck there and tried to rub it off as if it were glue or something but it didnt come off. I slid my finger over it again and it feels like that area "peeled" off. Is there a film on the outside of the roof that would "peel"??? Not too happy about this.
Sounds like the infamous passenger side "stripe" that afflicts many targa tops, mine included. Oh, BTW, GM denies they've ever heard of it. It's an odd problem that apparently cannot be repaired. Search for info on the forum, there have been many posts in this regard.

Very common. If GM denies having heard of it they must have their head stuck in a BIG hole.
No s**t, big mac? I do have glass coverage. Might be giving my insurance co. a call. I cant stand the sight of that "stripe". Thanks for the info guys!
