Need tires
Well I have had the unplesant experience of driving thru one of the famous potholes on the Belt Parkway on the way to Kennedy airport. Those of you in the northeast will know what I am talking about. Anyway I now need both a front and rear tire. It seems the impact caused a bulge in both. The front is especially bad but the rear, even though it is not as big, I do not trust. I do not have to have new tires as the right side has 20,ooo miles as does the left. I just need some replacement ones. So, does anyone know where I can get some? Also since each tire has a direction arrow on them, do they need to come from the right side of the car or can a tire be turned around when mounted? I can get new ones mounted and ballanced thru a friend who owns a body shop for $301 each, but I would rather try and find some a lot cheaper and do all four when the time comes. Try looking in the C5 Parts for Sale section. You can get some good buys on all sorts of things there, including tires.
