Default Michelin PS AS

Are these good tires?

The reason I ask is that Tire Rack is currently out of stock on Continental Contisport 2's in a 305/25 - 20 and they're figuring they won't get any in for 2-3 weeks. My car should be done in a week or so and these Michelins are available immediately. Only thing is the Michelins are 295/25 - 20

WHat should I do, wait or get the PS AS?

I have the PS AS ZP's. I like them a lot better then the OEM tires, and they actually do let you drive in the snow, unlike the stock tires. I have no reservations in recommending them.

I have a set of Michelins PS AS on my 2003 Vert. I like them. I had a 2000 with Goodyears and the noise drove me nuts. The Michelins are quiet, and they seem to handle my driving habits , I have not had them in rain or snow. I live in AZ and the seller who lived in Idaho put them on when I bought the car. I only have about 2,000 miles on them so far but for now.....they are doing fine by me.

I love my michlen PS AS i have 10,000 miles on them and you cant even tell they been on the car. the road noise and the rough ride is gone that the junk emt goodyears had now you can here the radio while you are driving and if you get caught out in the rain you dont have to worry about slideing into the car in front of you while you are trying to stop.

I give them a 9 out of a 10 rateing for everything

That's awesome. That's what I wanted to hear. I went ahead and had them ordered. It'll end up costing me about $144 more than the Continentals but I won't have to wait 3 wks. Absolutely ridiculous for a manufacturer to not have any production plans for a product they could easily have a monopoly over.

Thanks for the info guys!

Because it's my only car, and I occasionally have to drive it in the snow.

I have Michelin PS AS ZPs. Love them for all the reasons stated above

1. Quiet
2. Great treadwear
3. Better handling/driveability than OEM
4. Great price through Tire Rack

What about the PS2's?? I've heard alot of good things about them, I'm thinking of getting these after the runcraps die even though they are not runflats.

That's what I replaced my Goodyears with and I'm very happy with them. I do indeed go to the track when I can and these tires are fairly sticky, too.

Because, it's his car and his money. That is the benefit in living in such a free country with all these choices available to us.

That will indeed be your loss. If you can't seperate the two, then there's not much I can say.
