DailyDriver: steering wheel squealing when turned
My daily driver (honda accord) is squealing when I turn the wheel right or left. Is this just low fluid or do i need to replace that belt?

I'd check the power steering pump reservoir first. If it's low, then think about the last time you checked it. If it was recently, then look for a leak.
For a story - my oldest daughter's first car once had a leak in the high pressure line from the power steering pump. When the engine was running, the pump sprayed power steering fluid all over the engine - and that produced a lot of white smoke! But you couldn't see the leak with the engine off. And I couldn't figure out where the smoke was coming from, because I could never get a clear view of the leak due to the smoke. After two nights of looking and thinking, I finally brought it somewhere to get repaired. But I know what I'm looking for the next time it happens!
