I took my 2k Coupe in for what turned out to be the left rear hub. I was due to have power steering fluid changed and they changed the rear end fluid when they replaced the hub.
I was happy with the service and it was done promptly, but for over $850 the dealer could have washed my car couldnt they?

I don't bring my vette to the dealer, but I have w/h others if the work was under warranty or something...I usually ask for them not to wash it, as some kids washing those cars haven't a damn clue, and will use a dirty old rag w/h grease on it to "clean" your ride...screw that...

I would not want the dealer, or anyone else for that matter, to wash my car. But with spending that much money I would expect a kiss afterwards.

Well this dealer is the Corvette King. So I figure they know how to wash a vette since they move so many.

I have some real nice scratches form a dealer car washing. They did it on predelivery. They were nice enough to offer to repaint the nose and hood. I would rather have the scratches, thank you.

First off...I've never let a dealer TOUCH any C5 I've owned after the purchase.

Second....I'd be really PIZZED if they DID wash it!!!! Have you ever met they folks that handle that stuff in back...out of sight. No Way!!

Most stealerships can't even pick a C5 up correctly much less wash it properly.

I have taken my truck to a trusted dealer and for any service done, the trauck was washed and vaccumed.
I really liked that service.

When I took the my Impalla to the dealer I bought it from for routine service, I complained to the service manager that the car was not washed and I thought it was a nice service.
He looked at me and told me, HE would never have a nice car washed at any dealership because of the reasons posted in above posts. (but he would if I wanted him to).

Never did have any problems with my truck (but I drive my truck like a truck and the vette like a vette (and my Impalla like my grampa))

I have the exact oposite reaction.

If I pay $850 the least they could do is NOT wash my car.
