The build sheet is the document that follows the car down the assembly line, showing what options, colors, etc. to put on the car. Every car has one - but it is tucked away into the front crossmember behind the bumper. You can sometimes see it - but it is nearly impossible to get out intact unless you dismantle the entire front end. Simpler to just buy one if you want that kind of documentation.
I'm having my buildsheet and window sticker framed as a keepsake for my first Vette. Should have it this week completed! (Father's Day gift from my daughter)
