Default New motor ? Which one ?

I am thinking of buying a new motor for my Z06 2002 and i would like have a motor capabale of getting the car to go high to middle 10's in 402 so i figured it should have around 550 rwhp. I have been looking at the new MTI 427 based on the new LS2 block which seems to be a nice solution what other options do i have to get me where i want ? Iam not to keen on going the S/C route because getting the car through the tests we have here in Sweden would be a bitch deinstalling the S/C every year otherwise it wouldnt pass.

The rules we have in Sweden is that we arent allowed to change the power on our cars even if the emissions are ok afterwards. If you put a S/C on a non S/C car people will notice cant hide it, that well, and you have the whining noice. However a 427 or something similiar looks like a 346 on the outside and its up to them to prove that it isnt a a346 in the car which would be nearly impossible to them since they dont see the difference in the first place. And thats why i dont want to go the S/C route and other thing that bothers me is that i dont often see S/C cars perform so well at 402 m as the 427's or at the track since a S/C solution will build heat like mad.
Will a 427 or big motor use much more oil than a S/C car or a 346 ?

That sucks..
I think for ease of install and overall bang for buck performance its hard to beat an intercooled SuperCharged Z06.
Heat is not an issue, I live in a very hot climate and have friends that drive them without any issues at all..
I installed one in about 8 hrs and after the dyno tune got 505hp/455tq with the long tubes and cats.

As for an all motor car I think the MTI 427 is great ! If I wasn't so sold on the cheap bolt on power of the SuperCharger I would go with that engine.
I hear it even gets good gas milage.

I know that heat isnt an issue for normal or inspirated driving but when your on the track you will have a problem with heat i would be very surprised if you didnt.
Thanx for the input, yep in some cases Sweden sucks like our world record in taxes and a few other things. On the other hand its almost free($10) to go and see a doctor, study at the university is completly free and so on.
