Diff ratio?
Is there a way I can tell what my stock diff ratio is? VIN perhaps?

you can look on the rear end itself- you will see a tag with the name GETRAG on it (that's who makes it) you will also see the ratio in one of the line items...
Also, if you look under the drivers rear hatch compartment, you should see an RPO or production sticker listing all of your installed options from GM...if you have one that says G92- you have the 3:15 rear axel ratio...this is for automatics only, if it does not state G92 it is a 2:73 rear gear. All 6 speeds came with the 3:42 rear axel ratio.
