Ricer Fly-by!!!!

I went to a local cruise night tonight, and right before I was about to leave, I saw an old friend I use to SCCA race with. He liked my car, so I offered him a ride
(heh heh, not that I would try to scare him or anything
)Ok, so we headed out of the lot, and my foot accidently got stuck on the bottom of the floor! Oops! Instant boost.. 700 or so horse to the ground, and my street tires melting!
Ok, whew, luckily that was over quickly
and we headed at a normal speed to the highway. Getting onto the entrance ramp, the coast was clear with no one in sight. I went through the first four gears at WOT, full boost, and thoroughly enjoying my vette. It was almost the same thrill as my old twin-turbo SCCA car, only not with that sudden insane lunge forward, but with an insistant and insanely fast push from behind. As we slowed down and made a U-turn a mile down the road, a modded Subaru WRX was just ahead of us on the entrance ramp back onto the highway. I kept the Vette in low gear (heh heh, just had to make a little noise behind him!). Once I saw that the highway was clear to enter, I let it rip again
I think the WRX was trying to go fast, but it was hard to tell from my peripheral vision as we flew past him.NOTE- this was NOT a race, nor do I condone that on the street. I got up to speed, and immediately backed off on the throttle to maintain a safe highway speed...
Ok...
LOL..
Now here's the funny part...
RICER FLY-BY!!!!
I guess he got pissed that AMERICAN MUSCLE put his sewing machine in it's place!
I just looked over at my friend sitting next to me, laughed, and told him he had just witnessed a ricer fly-by
