Battery Disconnect?
I'm replacing the air intake this weekend. The instructions say to disconnect the battery. Is it necessary?

I wouldn't do it myself. You will throw a security code that locks out your radio. Then you need the reset code to unlock it. The reset codes vary so be sure you have yours if you do this

I've never understood why doing anything short of checking your tire pressure has recommendations of disconnecting your battery.

Well........I did the intake this afternoon before I checked back here. I went ahead and disconnected the battery. I lost my tire pressure readings. Now it reads nothing for front and rear. Haven't checked the radio. I know there have been around 1000 posts on the stupid tire pressure reset, but....How do I fix that?

Radio is fine and the tire pressure readings came back after I took it out for a spin.

I have disconnected my battery many times with no problems with radio or anything else.
