Slow tire leak...bar code
Had a slow leak, about 2psi a week on my right rear Goodyear GS-D3. Wasn't a wheel weight or tire valve. Finally took it to my GY dealer and he found a leak on the backside of the tire between the tire and the rim. They partially dismounted the tire and found a sticky paper Goodyear bar code right on the tire flange between the tire and rim. Removed bar code, clearned off the glue and re-mounted the tire. No more leak. 
Happened to me on my 94 with Goodyear F1's a couple of years ago. Almost drove me crazy before we found it.

Got the same problem. Some mornings its right on the ey then on othe mornings its down 2 to 3 lbs. Have Sumitomas so the mounting and remounting sounds pretty good. Thanks.

I had exactly the same thing happen with my GS-D3's a couple years ago. Corvettes of Houston found/solved the problem.
