I didn't know that, but if I'd have wondered I probably would have gone to the C6 Forum looking for the answer.

Well, i guess even a broken clock is right twice a day....I love the looks of the C6, and I'd love to get my hands on a Z06.

I've noticed alot of sarcasm on CF lately. IMHO, I saw nothing wrong with your initial post. I don't like the fixed headlights, or the front fascia design on the C6. I found it very interesting that the designer of the Aztec was a major player in the design of the fugly Euro C6. BTW, yes this is the C5 section, so surely I can post candidly on the C6.

I must say, you have sarcasm down to an art form.

Yes, a place where C5 Enthusiast can post candidly about other makes & models, right?

IMHO, the C6 Z06 has enough suttle exterior differences over the C6 that I can at a C6 while over the C6 Z06.

I've read plenty of reputable Car Magazines that refer to the C6 as a C5.5. The C4 to C5 step was an incredible leap in technological advancement. Whereas, the C6 is more of an attempt at C5 refinement. However, the C6 Z06 is a completely different story. The C6 Z06 will be like no other Vette in history.

Why would a True C5 Enthusiast venture over to the C6 section? Or, better yet, why should a C5 Enthusiast not be allowed to post candidly in the C5 section?

I go over to the C6 section on a regular basis. It's a great place to remember about what C5 General used to be a few years ago. They're still on the floormat and how much did you pay posts. I would point out this is the C5 General (as in general information about the C5) not the C5 Enthusiast section. You should explore this great forum. You'd find there's a whole big world of Vette info out there. Expand your horizons son! Just a warning though, don't wander into OT!

Same here! I'm already waiting for the C7, just hope its not ugly, and that it happens before I'm too old to drive it in a meaningful manner. Otherwise it will be C5s for me......but an early C3 T-top sure would be a nice companion for the C5....
