Rev limiter poll...

Have not seen one of these yet...

How many of you guys have increased your rev limiters to take advantage of a mod?

Bumped mine up to 6,700 to take advantage of the new cam!

21st Century Muscle Cars raises the rev limiter to 6500 as a standard procedure when performing an LS1 edit.

Had mine at 6950 for a while after heads/cam but dropped it down to 6700 and set my shift light at 6500 later on. Forum member Sidestep has his set at 7200.

7k here on my ZO6....hehe

My T/A is at 7200. The car shifts at 7k but that motor is built. I am adding a second stage of Nitrous soon.

6,700 is where mine is set, but I usually shift at 6,300 when doing the 1/4 mile thing.

Built for 7K But mine is set at 6,500
Theres no point to rev a motor to the moon if your Torque falls off 1500rpm earlier

...thats what I think...

...so StuzVette hits 6500 I shift max 6-6.3k
