Are you telling us that you have used leather treatment on your Owners Manual jacket? That's a bit to much and really around the bend.
What treatment did you use. I use McGuires.

If everyone treated their car this way it would make purchasing a used vehicle much easier. My Daily Driver is a 97 4Runner and when I took it in for service one day they gave me a hard time (in fun) about all the cloths I had placed over door grabs, floor mats, console tray etc. but they were quick to point out "they'd sure like me to call if I ever decide to sell it" cleanliness in next to Godliness

Hey! I never thought about treating the manual jacket. I think some Adams is in order... AHHHHHHH! Make it stop!

Well, I always say, "When the going gets tough, the obsessive get compulsive." When I clean my wheels, it takes about 90 minutes a wheel.

Well, I have to be somewhat of an enabler here and tell you that I bought my wife a 2003 C240 baby Benz this weekend and yes - it's black. Someone said that black isn't a color, it's a hobby. Were they right! My TR Z is gleaming after two coats of Zaino yet I spent 8 solid hours detialing this black Benz. Now mind you, it's Teutonic paint is sanz orange peel but puhleze! Now, as far as the manual thing goes, you obviously didn't spend 100% of your rubbing energy on the finish or you wouldn't have had anything left for the manual. Seriously, my hands are SORE after yesterday. Oh well, we all need help.
