I just go the vararam installed on my 99 coupe this past Saturday. Took between 3.5 - 4 hours with several breaks, not that bad really just take your time. I was wondering how everyone's intake ducts line up with their fog lamps and intake area. The way mine lines up simply suck. Is their anyway to go back in and modify the intake ducts somehow so that it lines up like factory. The car does pull much harder in the higher RPM range. I can e-mail pics later if anyone wants to see how far off mine are. To spend $300 on an intake everthing should line up as it was desgned.
Thank You, You are the man. This was the one part where I guess we got in a hurry and just mounted the intake ducts with the OEM screws that came off the car. We did not use the longer mounting screws or the spacers. Was actually using Cajudude's instructions to do the install and he just used the OEM screws with no problems. Guess it's different on the 99 model. Guess I will be back under my car saturday morning re-doing the vararam install ver 2. Lessons learned, What works for the other guy wont always work for you. Attention to detail, Read the instructions from the manufacturer, might save you some time in the long run.
