Default Bulletin on Plugs

My son, who is enrolled in UTI, just called me and said there was a bulletin issued from GM on the stock platinum plugs. Seems they were recommending Iridiums. Two questions: Has anyone else heard of this bulletin? And, What plugs do you recommend. I did a quick price check on Iridium plugs and found a vast difference between Delco and the top imports. Makes me wonder if the price difference justifies the quality or performance. Comments?..............BJ98

I've heard the NGK makes the AC Delco plugs anyways.

Thanks for the responses. If no difference, I may go with the Delco. They are much cheaper then anything else. As for the bulletin, the school my son attends gets these notifications on a regular basis. Wish I had more details but he did not provide specifics. He also warned be about DEX-COOL about a year ago, but that's another story......BJ98
