I finally received my flowmaster exhaust system today and had a local shop install.
It has a nice low sound. Barely louder than stock at cruise, but definitely sounds better accelerating. (and it doesn't sound like a mustang either!!!)
I've had mine on since December and, although it could be a bit louder at idle, I do like it. Not the most popular system out there, but the price was right and the sound under WOT is good.
What about interior resonance?? I had FM's on my '88 C4 and the resonance was terrible from 1000 to 2000 rpm.
I like their price though for a C5 setup. You're the first I've heard of that has them.
Thanks for sharing.

There isn't any interior resonance (drone). Hard to believe for flowmaster, but true.

I had Flowmasters' cat-back system on my '87 and loved the sound. No nasty resonance. I had heard that they were not a good choice for the C5 (other than the pleasing noise) because they added back pressure compared to the stock system. Anybody got an update on that? Based on my past experience, I'd buy Flowmasters, again.
mustangs sound awesome! I only wish my vettes sounded like my sons cobra. Why didn't you install the flowmaster exhaust your self? Learn something about your car. I'm very old, but I did my own even with my gnarled hands. I love these corvettes!

It cost me $86 installed (welded). I try and fix things on this car myself. No matter what the issue is, I end up doing the repair at least twice. So for $86, I'm the happiest guy around.
I have flowmasters on my 2000. They were on when I purchased the car. I swapped out to a set of Ti's for about 6 months and was happy with them, just too quiet for me. The flowmasters sound great but I am not a big fan of the tips, too small and a b*tch to clean.
