I hit a bump a week ago and they quite for a few seconds and this morning driving to work they worked twice and then quite. Has anyone had this problem? I called the dealer but they can't get it in the shop until next week. Its a 2001 with 25500 miles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

only had this problem recently with sequential blinker kit...
...I removed the kit and voila...
...sounds like a loose connection only....and I havent heard of this being an issue with other 2001...at least not this 2001
It's an issue, I have ignored it. Try your emergency flashers when it happens next time. That usually clears it. If not a restart usually does it too. I live in a rural area so not too concerned about it. Doesn't happen often.
The hazard switch and turn signal relay is a dual relay which controls both. Had mine replaced recently and tech said he's had a few.........glad I have the gm extended warranty.I believe the dash needs to come out to change the switch........
when the blinkers stop working, push the hazard button, and while the flashers are blinking turn on the blinker you need and turn off flashers.that's what i've been doing when they go out.sometimes i need to hit flashers 3 or 4 time because they don't work either!!!i need a new switch,i imagine, but i aint lettin anybody tear into my dash!!!
I've had this problem too, checked the forum, was told to hit the hazard button and it worked.
Has only happened 2 other times in the past 3 months, hit the blinker, nothing happened, leave the blinker on and hit the hazard and it started working again.
Save that money you're about to waste on the dealer and go buy some mods.
Thanks to all that responded. Pushing the hazards worked. I would have never thought of that. I tell you this forum is awesome. It saves corvette lovers time, frustration and money.
