Are they both the same color? If not, do you like one color over the other. I don't disagree with anything that has been said from both sides of this fence.
I personally like a stock car with low miles but these are not major mods and 4,500 miles is not a lot of miles.
So, with that said go with the one (color/interior/options) that you like the best and let us know which one you picked.
Good luck

Given your description, I'd lean towards the modded car... to me I'd consider both cars to be low mileage, and the mods you listed as "major" don't seem have much to do with the engine itself, which would be my biggest concern.
If you like the mods and were planning on doing the same exact ones yourself, looks like you might have a good deal there.

I was leaning towards the low miles but having now seen the mods it is a tough call. If there is anything you don't like about the modded car, go with the low miles, it's new..... otherwise go modded..... good luck

I actually was leaning toward the modded one.
One major difference I forgot to mention is that the modded car is a 6 speed and the other is auto.

One major thing that worries me is the warranty being voided.

Does anyone out there know if the mods listed would void it?

Default Mods are O.K.!!

These are not engine or drivetrain mods,I don't see anything there to affect warranty,,,,,If you like these mods...GO FOR IT! ( of course a test drive to make sure all functions perform nicely)Besides,it's a 6-speed!

This is a low mileage car even if it's a 2004!

I say no brainer...... Be sure to post up some pics..

( If these were heads, cam, tune, supercharger,tq,rear end...I would be singing another tune!)

since it's opinions you're after, i'll weigh in: i'd opt for the stock vehicle. with only 300 miles, you are getting a brand new car. bub

It really is a tough call. The following would sway me. I would definitely want the 6 spd. Color of each? Do you like the exhaut of the modded one? Personally, I don't put a lot of worth in a lot of the mods done, but that's just me. How much are the cars? If you aren't happy with either one, keep looking, there are more out there. I have a "limited edition" 04 ce Vert. I love it, but it's no collectors item. I know all of that is probably no help, but good luck anyway.

$.02 given

i agree unless you don't like what's been done.

I would stay away from the modded car. The tires tell me the car has been driven hard, and probably in a number of HSDE's. These don't put a lot of miles on a car but it sure will eat away at the guts of the car.

I would go with the modded yellow one if you like the 6 speed but if you are not into shifting all of the time then the auto will make you much happer but just be prepard to do the moddes that the yellow one has because if your on this site very long you will get the ich to do moddes all of the time are when you can come up with the $$$$$ if you know what i mean and dont forget the corvette taxs on everything you buy for it.

But which ever one you buy please post some pics so we all can see and good luck and welcome to the forum.

I don't think changing the tires says much except that you want different tires. How many people on this forum have changed tires just to get rid of the run-flats.

Unless you've seen a wear pattern or the tires talk...

Personally, an 04 with 4500 is nothing (considering I have almost 30K on mine -- daily driver). If you like the mods -- all of them (or at least can get rid of the ones you don't), then I'd personally go for the modded car. Plus I personally wouldn't want an automatic Vette.

But that's just me....

I don't think so think so, the warranty issue is more of what you remove verse 's what you add, the mods I see should not be a issue with the warrenty.

I would buy the mod car if color or trans was not a issue

I know I have spent more than $6000. on mods to my stock vert and I am not even close to being done

It is called "Mod Fever" may your help once it starts
