Extended Warranty Question

I bought the GM extended warranty 3 months ago and am covered another 2yrs/24k. Now I am thinking that I want to keep the car longer, can I upgrade or extend the already extended warranty??

I was on the phone today working on transferring the previous owner's extended warranty. At least for this company, the additional 2 years and 24k miles was the max.
