Chrome Wheel Repair
I just bougt a 2000 vert with chrome Z06 wheels. Everything about the car is perfect except on a couple of the wheels there is a little peel to the chrome because some nitwit tryed to put the balance on the outside. Without going to the hassle of having them rechromed does anybody know of a paint or liquid product available to just touch them up? Thanks.

Don't know of anything that will look right on the wheel. May want to just get them rechromed or replace the wheel. There are some "chrome" paints in a spray can, but I understand they do not look like the chrome you have on the wheel now.

Rechrome it!
I've got one small place on one wheel with the same problem. I think I'm gonna try this...recommended to me by a friend who restores old finished metals. (including car parts) He says it works pretty good for small spots but shouldn't be used on anything larger than a 1/2 inch or so. Here's a link. Sorry to hear about your wheels. Unfortunately, there's very little you can do to fix peeling or chiped chrome. That's the very reason I didn't go with the chrome. I decided to go with the polished wheels. More maintanence, but less hassel in the long run. Good luck.
