differences between '03 and '04

As others have stated, no major differences between 03 and 04. Perhaps the difference in ride/handling you noticed was due to different suspension packages in the 2 cars (base, Z51 or F55). Or, the 1 car may have had runflats, the other non runflat tires. Or, the tires on 1 car were worn, the other relatively new. Previous owners of these cars may also have modified the suspension parts such as springs, shocks, sway bars, etc. You may want to look again at the suspension, tires, etc. in the 2 cars you drove to see what differences are.
