Default Engine Bay ...Almost Done!

Just a few more pc's to go. Got the alternator cover in. Thanks to member "SLIK" for advice on that! It's hard to take pic's of shiny stuff in a shadowy engine bay, but I added an SS sheet w/ chrome edging in the flat area under the new BBK filter. Pain to get it in there, but I like it. It fills up a large black plastic area after removing the stock air box. I have somebody custom working on an aluminized carbon fiber cowl cover. Kind of iffy on that because it will show with the hood closed. Now I'm stuck polishing the engine area as much as I clean the body.

Great engine compartment. What retailer did you find for the parts?

Most of the SS stuff came from PFYC...Brian is very helpful and seemingly, always there. A couple pc's came from Eckler's because they were listed as "In Stock." The Aluminized CF stuff is from TKO...Ed's a great guy. The chromed BBK is from JEG'S....extremely fast shipping. The custom CF cowl is being worked on by Carbonwerks. I got the polished SS sheet off eBay and had them cut it to my spec's. The pic's of that do not do it justice. It's a pretty large area down there, but with the angle of it, it looks about right. Just sort of a fill in pc. I'm still trying to figure out how to cover those protruding black tab's in the radiator cover.
My wife is on vacation. I'm dead if she asks me to open the hood when she gets back!

Nice MISTERC! The cool thing about these cars is there are so many parts available for the engine bay, you can customize it and still be different.

My Silver and Black smooth rail covers are on their way from Ecklers. With chrome caps, alternator, master cylinder and booster cover. Can't hardly wait to see what I put together.
