Default GM Bra: a question?

Purchased the GM bra and installed on Z 06. Question is why GMI does not provide covers for the head lights? This is the only area that is now exposed and subject to damage. They go to the trouble to give you the small section for the hood but nothing for the head lights.
Does anybody sell just the head light covers?

I noticed from having a bra, that the front end of our cars don't get the sandblasting effect as other cars do. So I sold my bra. to many hassles. Gets wet, have to remove to wash/wax etc.

But to answer your question, you'll need a set of head light covers or a "mask" type bra, that comes with head light and mirror covers.

Default Paint Protection Film

I decided against the bra, and went with the clear paint protection film. Doesn't change the appearance, don't have to remove it when you wash the car, and you can wax it.... but it's not cheap. Good bye rock chips.

I have had StonGard clear protection on three vehicles. Love the stuff, cannot stand the "bra" on a Corvette. It's like **** on a bull. Looks like crap.

Wish they would provide covers for the headlights. I guess you could always get some of the clear film and put on the headlights.

Not sure, but maybe the Colgan bra has the headlight covers. ???

I have the Colgan bra and yes, it has the headlight covers. They are a royal PITA to put on.
I only use it for long trips where I know I will be encountering alot of trucks on the road.

Do the bras fit tight enough so they don't slap at all from the wind?

Don't really like the bra's on any cars. Always hearing how the end up scratching their hood putting it on and off. Wash mine to much to have one. Sounds like you have found your way around the problem though. Hope those clear strips work out for you.
