Default CAM ONLY help needed

I have a 97 coupe with Dynotech long tubes with no mufflers or cats and a Halltech Stinger along with a ported TB........ ( and T1 suspension for DEs with CCW Road Race package)
I dont do any drag racing but I need more HP for the DEs

I was about to drop 8K on the LS2 402 stroker, but changed my mind..

I have stock Ls1 block only got 50K on it and still runs strong....

I dont wanna do HEAD/CAM but was thinking about getting just the CAM until the motor dies and then get the LS2 Long block

Which CAM do you guys recommend and how much should I pay for the install with TUNING

ALL i want is 380 To the REAR WHEELS

thanks a lot

Something between 224 and 228. I recently installed a 225 in my FRC and dynoed 385 rwhp through the cats, 112* inside the shop, and with 3.90 gears.

i just installed comp cams 224/228 581/588 on a 113 2 weeks ago. still on a stock tune, and car def. feels stronger. with a good tune i should be around 375-380rwhp

good luck with your choice!

Check out my sig for info on 385 RWHP and parts list below pic.

21st Cent MC did the cam and UD pulley (might as well do both while you've got things apart). The cam is very stealthy, so you can get more aggressive and get more HP. Parts and labor, arround $2,000.
