I went the spray route. Just mask everything and take your time and make sure you get the calipers really clean before painting. Pretty easy DIY project.
If you've got a lift for the car, good for you. If you're like me, and have to manually jack it up, get a good set of jack stands, and hockey pucks(unless you have the jacking pucks already...)
Also, and I can't stress this enuff if you're jacking up the car manually, CHOCK THOSE FRONT WHEELS!!! At least one should be fine, but be patient, don't rush, and plan on several coats.
