Techron use question
I purchased some Techron while in Cleveland at the CART race recently and would like to know if there is a rule of thumb how often I should add some to the tank. Is once with every oil change (5,000 km or 3,000 mi.) sufficient?

The Techron bottle instructions say to put it in on an empty tank then fill up and use every 3,000 miles. I think the best thing to do would be to just use Chevron gas, as all their grades have Techron in it already.

I use the 20 gallon treatment with a tank of gas. Do this about every 5,000 miles. Remember... the problem is a sensor in your GAS TANK, Not your fuel lines or injectors. 
Therefore, don't add the Techron and drive the gas tank empty in one day.... that's like an 8 hour treatment
Add it to your gas and burn the tank over a one week period is a 168 hour treatment.
Each person will need to calculate their own Techtron schedule.

There's a section on winter storage on the forum somewhere. I just add stable and fill her up (and drive it a little to make sure the stable is in the lines and everything, not just poured into the tank to sit all winter).
As people have been saying, just add Techron every blue moon or so...perhaps on Arbor day...or when you set the clocks ahead / back...
