Hey folks...new guy to the board. I'm in the market for a Z06 and I've been looking at a few 02s and 03s. Assuming both are low mileage vehicles, is there any advantage going with a 03 over an 02? Thanks!

No advantage, the '02s are cheaper and the '03s are newer. Oh, and the '03s have silver emblems on the front and back (50th Anniversary) and the '02s have black emblems.
Whichever one you go with change the shocks to the '04 shocks because they were improved for better response.
get whichever one has the best ratio of Miles:Price:Condition.
There aren't any differences worth mentioning; in all likelyhood the different fuel system in the latter '03 would never be noticible.
Some of the early 03's didn't have them. I lost the 5th to 6th gear syncro at 9000mi., all the shift forks were replaced along with the rest of the syncros. If you go to ZO6Vette.com, you will see that it was a big problem. Haven't had any trouble in over 20000mi.
all the "posted' records
-you can consider an 01 also if ya want to save dough and spend on mods..love my 01-and i will tell you stock for stock in a Z-most everything depends on the rear tires and the traction you have-a yr newer with "worn" rears will get "torn-up" by an older Z with good rear shoes on.......... have fun and i would look at more than just the year of a Z in the "Purchase Maze"......
