Dunno, but i have the same issue. Always can't wait to take mine out for a spin after it's just washed and cleaned.

It is a proven fact (!!) that a clean surface will allow greatly improved air flow adding well over 100hp. The improved reflectivity of a clean surface will also allow less radar detection from our friends that protect our highways. and that the truth......

I think we actually give our brains a break when we know our babies are clean, therefore allowing ourselves the full pleasure of the experience.
Our conscious minds get clogged with the aspect of a dirty car, and we can't concentrate on anything except getting to our destinations, with as little flair as possible, because we KNOW how nasty that dirt and grime is.
I can't help but think my baby is under attack from all the nasty elements from the road whenever she's dirty, especially with her delicate skin.
Last week, I went so far as to clean some bird crap off SOMEBODY ELSE'S Torch Red coupe with detail spray and microfiber, just because I didn't want the finish to get etched by the crap! The fella was genuinely appreciative of me looking out for his baby...
