I have never done this, but would expect it to be fine for street driving, as long as you stay with runflats up front as you stated. I don't know if I would do this and track the car though.
I am curious about the response to this question, because I also am planning on running different rears - I have an extra set of wheels with Nitto DR's on them for nice track days, and wanted to run those with my firehawk runflats up front
I had the same issue here about a month ago. Kept the rear GoodYear runflats, installed 2 new Michelin pilot sport ps/2's on front. Also installed 2 new pressure sensors in front. Everything is fine, love the Michelin's! Only issue (if you want to call it that) is that the DIC tire pressures are not adjustable, that is I keep getting "high tire pressure FL and FR" The Michelin's call for a bit higher running pressure than do the Goodyears. My choices are either run the Michelin's a bit lower than recommended or simply ignor the DIC msg. So far I"m ignoring the DIC. As long as the wife doesn't do the same, I'll be alright!
