Mildew smell
Here's a pretty unromantic query for all,
When I start my 99 conv up I get a blast of a mildew smell. Car stays w/ A/C at full blast. I'm on the Texas Gulf coast - humidity at it's finest. Smell is pretty much gone after turning on the car.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Running your fan on high without the AC before turning your car off will help dry out the vents. Leaving less moisture to create funk for the next day.
The dealership used a ventilation cleaner spray... smelled more like a mechanical smell for about a weak but no more musty funk.
