Love Bug Preventative?

Heading to Florida in about a month. I've heard horror stories about the "love bug" and how hard they are to get off your paint. I just had the nose painted and I REALLY don't want to screw it up. What's the best way (outside of a bra) to make sure I can get love bugs off? Someone said spray PAM on the front. Has anyone tried that?

I have used PAM; it works very well, washes right off with the bugs. Only use it on the nose.

And with our hot Florida weather, the bugs cook nicely in PAM. Good for snacks along the way.

Saran wrap works good also. Just make sure you do not cover any air intake vents.

Love bugs normally just come out in May and Sept - but we have plenty of other bugs available - the key is to wash off within a day or so -

At the risk of being flamed...

I hate to sound like a cool aid drinker, but I have found that with a good coat of Zaino, the bugs just wipe off the car with a damp cloth. They just do not adhere to the paint. (Other polishes and waxes may work also, I just do not know)

For the record though, I would never take a long road trip without a bra on the car.
