No, I don't have anything further to add here that hasn't already been said... But...
You've got to be kidding me! Your column isn't going to lock up in the next, oh I don't know, 2 months. I personally gaurantee it. If it does I will cut off my left pinky finger. How do I know this? I don't, but the odds are damn slim.
Enjoy your car, don't worry about something that's not likely going to happen within the span of a few days.

I was gonna do it this saturday after cutting the grass. I got tired of looking at it sitting there. H ave to give it a good bath before we ride. Just in; I got an email from thunder racing. It's on the way.

If it hasn't had the recall work done, I'd turn the key on, make sure the ECL has completely unlocked, then reach under the dash and unplug your ECL. Drive it like you stole it. Just reset the error messages on you DIC until you get your CLB. I would never let this stop me from driving my vette...it's my special place to escape the world.
