Here are some pics of mine, I went with the SS inserts because I don't have to have a front plate. I think both colors look great on the rear of the car, but I think that the SS looks alot better than red on the front (my $.02 of course). If you have to keep a plate on the front of your car, I guess that isn't something to consider though. Here is another attempt of mine to post pictures (never been sucessful yet).

I've had red on all 3 of my 'vettes, but now looking at the SS inserts... WOW. I really like that look. The red looks cool with the red lights - but the SS looks sharp with the exhaust. My red faded for some reason - need to get another set. Methinks SS for me.

Mine are the actual SS insterts. They are rigid letters, I was worried about that at first (if they don't fit right) - but the quality and fit are great on them.
I tried to stay with a theme. The only chrome on my car is the rims and the exhaust. everything else body, interior and trim wise is yellow, red or black. I went with the brake light red. But my car's yellow and I didn't think the SS would set the azzend off *** much see my sig
