Default B&B TriFlow Headers Question...

Have any of you mechanical type GooRoos installed your own headers? (Shorty, not long tube) If so, can you give me a quicky lesson on what all I have to remove to install them? What should I look out for?

Thanks in advance.

I installed mine - though its been a while. All in all it was pretty simple. I think I had to remove the alternator, but that is simple. People had advised me to pull the plugs so that I wouldn't break one, but I did not do that and had no issues. The biggest problem is getting a wrench on the drivers side rear bolts when installing the B&B's. I had to use one of the little ratcheting box end wrenches to reach in there. Its about a 40 curse job because things are tight. Took me all day and would have been easier if I hadn't lost one bolt - somewhere within this beast there is a header bolt. Fortunately, my local Ace hardware was able to match up and produce a couple. It is also important to orient the gaskets properly. Its easy to put them in upside down so be cautious because it annoying to have to unbolt and rebolt. Its also helpful to have a helper under the car when you are fitting things together into the doughnut.

So... if I had to do it again, I could do it in half a day instead of a day.
